this was one of those songs that was on the set of 4 mix tapes that my boy made me about 2 months into dating; he’s introduced me to a lot of music, and i’ve introduced him to a lot of music. We’ve shared our tastes quite a bit – and we both have similar views about downloading and have massive CD collections which, if we move in together, will become one massive shrine. We’ve already stopped buying duplicates.
out of the 4 cds that he mixed for me – i think i’ve probably gone on to buy an album from about 60% of them. about 5% i already had or were going to buy.
but Rise Against is one of the ones that i’ve bought multiple albums (3) from.
And this song is still as briliant as it was the first time i heard it.
And seeing them at this years Big Day Out was just frickin awes-tastic (that’s both awesome AND fantastic!).
this is one of those songs that gets me pumped. i run to it, i shout it in my car, i cant help mouth the words when i’m listening to it with headphones
and i screamed it in one crazy moshpit.
