It doesn’t take long as a knitting blogger before you hear the name Elizabeth Zimmerman.
But until this article I’d never been compelled to buy one of her books or seek out more information about her.
So my question is this.
Who else should I research? Who do you list as your knitting influences?
Who are your favourite knitters/designers/spinners/fibre artists?

I get influenced by the podcasts I watch/listen to all of the time. I don’t think there’s one in particular. My favourite designers are Jared Flood (and the entire Brooklyn Tweed team), Tin Can Knits, Martina Behm, and so many more I can’t name them all (lol). I love Ravelry; it’s a great way to experience so many different designers and patterns.
Judith McKenzie is pretty darn inspirational.
This may sound very cheesy but I get my inspiration from all you bloggers. Including your work, your finds and disasters!
